Michael Turcotte


Michael Turcotte is a local Chiropodist/Foot Specialist who is dedicated to many local charities. Michael has been committed to many organizations for many years and has helped shape our community. Michael has served as our Hospital Board Chair for many years, President of Girls Softball for 14 years, President of Cornwall Girls Hockey , Coached for 20 years in various sports, Board member of Rachel's Kids since inception to name a few. Michael is passionate about giving back  and has always shown an interest in Halloween. The idea of a Ghost Walk for charity came from the many years of providing a haunted garage to the community. Michael has collected many props, animatronics, production ideas, special effects over the years that will greatly contribute to the production of Cornwall's first Ghost Walk for Charity.

Jennifer Turcotte


Jennifer Turcotte

Jennifer is a Podiatric Assistant / technician at the Foot and Ankle Clinic and Store Manager at Step Above Footwear. After moving to Cornwall from her hometown of Toronto in 2009, she has developed a love and passion for the City of Cornwall. Her father Michael Turcotte has been involved in numerous charitable organizations within the community for many years and his drive for philanthropy and adoration for Halloween is contagious. Jennifer has an extensive background in marketing and call centre management for large corporations such as Rogers Wireless, Auto Trader, SkyWords Traffic, Buy & Sell Newspaper and Air Canada Vacations to name a few. Her marketing background and attention to detail will be an asset to our team. Jennifer is excited to be a part of the Ghost Walk for Charity and is looking forward to contributing to this spooktacular event.

Steve Bernier


Giving back rewards us all. Steve Bernier is the assistant manager at scotiabank cornwall, and is a huge community supporter. Steve volunteers for all sorts of different charities, almost on a weekly basis, and with the bank's matching program, Steve is not only volunteering, but also supporting these organizations through the bank's donations. Steve is a cornwall lions club member and a strong believer that being involved in our community rewards us all!

Dan is born raised and working in Cornwall and has helped countless organization through volunteering and sitting on organizing committees. Despite him being afraid of his shadow he has agreed to help with this initiative.

Tasha Thompson

.Tasha is a nursing unit clerk at a local LTC home. Growing up she was always involved in the various community fundraisers with her mother who was the Executive Director for the Cornwall General Hospital Foundation. In the past few years she was successful in writing a government grant proposal for community activities for seniors. She also organized an event to promote home-based businesses which consisted of 70 local vendors. Tasha is excited to be a part of The Ghost Walk for Charity this year and hopes to encourage the youth in our community to gain experience and pride from helping our local charities.

Ron Armstrong


Ron, who hails from Northern Ontario, has called Cornwall his home for the last 20 years. A consummate “Jack of all Trades”, Ron is always the first one to offer help in any project. He jumped in as a volunteer for the Ghost Walk for Charity in 2018.He helped with setup, production and takedown. His voice could be heard during some of the haunting tour.

Ron is honoured to join the Ghost Walk for Charity Board of Directors this year. He says Hallowe’en is his favourite holiday as he can be in public without his mask.

Michelle Kaye


 Michelle has been part of the Cornwall Community for the past 20 years. She has always been an avid Halloween enthusiast. Building Halloween props with her husband is one of her favorite past times, however, reality exist and employment is needed. She is currently the office manager of a local Law Firm where she handles book-keeping, infrastructure projects as well as day to day operations.

Michelle is also an organizing member of a local dart league.​

Shawn Kaye


Born in Toronto, Shawn has called Cornwall his home for the last 30 years. He has been a lead vocalist for numerous bands, however he is best known as the lead vocalist for SamHill. When the band parted ways, Shawn turned his focus to his second passion, Halloween. Building his own animatronics and learning the industry, having a background with sound and lighting, Shawn is a great addition to the team. Focusing on giving back to the community that has given him so much, Shawn looks forward to entertaining in a new way.
